This project explores the subject of dreams developed during sleep and has been explored in a positive and joyful aspect through the use of vintage pastels, vibrant colours and tactile materials. The twentieth century comic book ‘Little Nemo in Slumberland’ has been the main source of inspiration for this knit collection. Inspired by the comic strip layouts and illustrations, the shapes and colours found within this book is demonstrated throughout this range for womenswear. The use of domestic knitting methods and colour has been thoroughly explored, incorporating materials such as lurex and holographic vinyl to resonate with the illusion of dreams.
