I’m a graphic designer passionate about visual communication beyond language/cultural barriers. As a South-Asian growing up in Europe, I’ve always longed for cultural understanding and ways to draw the bridge between the two worlds. My project: ‘A Dancing Tale’ aims to introduce the Indian Classical dance form known as Bharathanatyam to an unfamiliar audience. As an ex-dancer with growing knowledge of the art form, I wish to share my experiences and the life of dancers. My work is aimed towards non-Asians who haven’t had the pleasure of witnessing/understanding what this art form entails.
