Liberty Gatcombe / Multimedia Broadcast Journalism BA(Hons)

I am a freelance multimedia journalist whose work to date has been grounded in sexual health and sexual education. My most recent project ‘Pussyfooting’ is in an investigation into the relationship with women and healthcare professional and why so many women feel in the dark about their sexual health. I intend to deepen this conversation to explore differences in experience in regard to race and gender and raise the voices of women whose mental health has been under strain by a lack of conversation around sexual health.
The YouTube links attached are part of a food and lifestyle magazine I developed for a final assessment. The magazine, Snack, celebrates the simple things: beans on toast, chips, the humble baked potato. There’s nothing fancy about it, it’s just fun and it plays with concepts from fashion magazines to bring an edge to the tired food magazines currently on the market.
