Spacecraft
My third-year project began the first time I looked up at the night’s sky and could comprehend what those twinkles meant. What you see here is my attempt to communicate that childlike wanderlust through materials, prints, objects, and spaces. My work is a starry-eyed attempt at creating material embodiments of the universal cycles we perceive here on Earth.
Thank You Moonshine, Until We Meet Again is an expressive diagram of a lunar eclipse intended to explain the event through a spatial installation. Cosmos in a Cage is an inquiry into visual, spatial and material language, and my attempt at communicating the qualities of the universe. The other work seen here reveals my working processes, hinting at where the world will take me next on my mission to communicate the marvels we can see, if we just look up (from our phones).
