The initial idea for this collection was to portray the quick transitions we, as social species, go through our youth – as in growing from a child to a teenager, and from a teenager to an adult.
Basing my development around very abstract topics such as mental states, moods and specific aesthetic (schoolboy / teenage cyber-punk…) it allowed me to explore and draw relation in between techniques, fabrics and concept in order to picture the shifts and create and challenging styles.
As a youth inspired concept, I followed the spirit and only used upcycled materials – it was a playful challenge in the sense of thinking further, thinking creatively into the process of developing and making.
