This collection “Neo-Hime” explores a futuristic approach to menswear streetwear, inspired by sci-fi media and the political unrest of a corrupted society. The collection is set in a Neo-Tokyo dystopian future where the streets violence, civil unrest, mass protests and illegal racing have led to frequent rioting. My muse plays on his youthful innocence in contrast to his violent environment, invoking the idea of transitioning from childhood to adulthood.
The concept of this collection is based in a dystopian future, a society on the brink of collapse, highly violent and grotesque sexualization. From the ashes of Tokyo has risen Neo-Tokyo, a dangerous wild dystopia city, where gangs openly fight in the streets, where the scars of mass destruction can be felt in every aspect of society. In a future where humans are augmented with cybernetic improvements to traits such as vision, strength, and intelligence.
