As a Chinese girl, I aim to bond my artworks with Chinese traditional culture, combining with some contemporary elements. My pieces are created base on ancient Chinese painting. I recreate the figures by adding contemporary elements such as violin and space suit.
Most of the pieces are illustrating ancient females, done by watercolour and Wacom in order to imitate the quality of ancient rock colour. I want to convey the mixture of beauty from two Chinese eras. As the oblivion of the traditional culture, my artworks focus on reawakening people in protecting and inheriting the culture.
