For my FMP I created a magazine to display my graphic design and photography skills. Stash is a quarterly print magazine that celebrates the art of collecting. It explores the topics and themes produced by the act of collection. The unique content is devised through film photography, considered graphics and short articles. Stash celebrates the art of collection through a curious, candid, informal tone. Stash looks to inspire those who have a fluid interest and curiosity in contemporary, atypical, art culture, allowing them to absorb the beauty of collections, and the subjects that surround this through the paper and digital medium. The below work is titled ‘Somebody else’s junk’; an article from Stash that explores my personal collection of souvenirs and memories. The photography was created through the use of a flatly studio and digital photography. The full article is present in Stash magazine, available via Stashmag.co.uk.
