The aim of this project is to prove that packaging can not only serve as a shell for a product, but can also be a separate object of art. People see a package as a container for something. They are only interested in the object which is inside the package and not the package itself. This is why normal product packaging is meant to be as rational and convenient as possible. People want to be clear about what they buy and that is completely understandable. However, I want to take packaging to a totally different place. My aim is to create packages that could be observed like exhibits in the art gallery. Psychedelic “sci-fi” aesthetics will be present in my designs. Shapes and textures will be vibrant and obscure. The eye-catching looks have to convince people that this type of packaging is not really suitable for any normal “real-life” product.
