Shown is a collection of 16 mm footage which has been both physically distressed and digitally edited. The films center around the theme of awkwardness and anxiety.
Not only is the subject of the film uncomfortable but also the process the artist goes through of painstakingly defacing the footage, frame by frame, to create the aesthetic shown.
The sounds heard have been collated from a collection of sources spanning from recordings from the trenches in WW1 to interviews carried out by the artist.
