Kate Freer is a photographer based in Brighton. A recent Fashion Communication graduate, her final project questioned truth in photography through physically and conceptually altering images. Her photography centres around capturing people and their environment, on film.
This series of outcomes display a journey into questioning the truth in photography. Through capturing environments and people, the truth of the image is physically, digitally and conceptually distorted. The aim of this is to present the viewer with real images and facades, to consider the effect of altering truth.
