My idea began when I asked how people find comfort. People find comfort in some spaces or sometimes get it from things or certain places. Some gain comfort in social places, and some gain it through places that are familiar to them. In this situation. What role will furniture play, and how can furniture provide various and appropriate comfort to people or users? I want to find the answer to this. People have different body shapes and demand different types of comfort. How can I provide a common comfort in these differences. This is my main thinking that I want to look for. Furthermore, looking for comfort in space instead of just looking for it in the limited category of furniture, how is comfortable furniture made and it make what kind of space. I would like to analyse the study of what is comfort with a new approach thinking of my motif that”Furniture makes space and space makes places.”. As a result, the primary question I would like to present is as follows.

‘How can I use furniture to give comfort to users?’

Then I can design by expanding into spaces instead of simply staying in the category of furniture? ” Furniture, space, and place. ” After looking for such a question, what is a priority in furniture, function or beauty? In final, I am going to move on to the process of whether the user’s direction determines the design or the direction that the creator pursues creates the design.
