I’m an aspiring illustrator/animator who loves visualising sound and music through colourful imagery and punchy animation. One of my final major projects: “Maruja – TAO” is a music video that I worked on for my friend’s band’s single. This is the direction I am hoping to further move towards as I enjoy creatively engaging with, and expanding, the possibilities in which my illustration skills can be used for visual and sequential communication. I am grateful for my tutors who have provided me with the space and freedom to experiment and challenge myself, as well as the unwavering support from all my friends. Sadly, my time at UoB was cut short due to Covid-19, this caused some complications as we weren’t able to experience our final year the way we had all been looking forward to, however I’m still very grateful to have completed the course with my peers.
