I have a background in portraiture and realism, however during my degree have developed a real passion for 3D design and animation. As such, my work experiments with themes of duality, such as combining realism with fantasy. I feel that images arouse more interest when there is an incongruous element to them.
My work is influenced by the genres of fantasy and sci-fi, and I tend towards rounded, organic and delicate forms. I have a keen eye for small details and believe a piece is only finished once all the small details have fit into place.
