My work is focused on narrative. The themes of my work are loss, journey and identity. The work I create follows a dystopian premise where I take the viewer on a path through the worlds I have created, by means of sound immersion, landscape drawings and fictional first person accounts. I aim to unsettle the audience of my work and allow them to think over future possibilities of where this world is heading and the dangers that technological advancements permit. I believe this to be very important due to the common perception that better tech means an easier life, I wish to challenge this. My drawings on black paper allow white mark making to become striking and create an unsettling atmosphere.
