The title of my work is “The Seven Sins and Shadow Plays”. The project is based on a large number of shadow puppet character designs as a reference. In the production process, I think expression is the most important part. Through research and expression, I can lock in the sin represented by the work. I think the reference object is necessary. After completing these reference objects, I started to make them. First, draw multiple characters from the sketchbook to choose from, including the stripes of characters from different eras (the difference between real life and drama). Then use a pencil to draw the final character design, and then use a gel pen to draw a second time. Then add the reference pattern and the expression of the task, and then cut the characters. Put them together and draw relevant references at the same time. Add different colours to the background, and finally I used the lightmap method to shoot.
