I focused on exploration and collection of special colours in 90s from old photos in China. I have categorised and arrange 12 different colour blocks groups of old photos together to form a huge colour block table. This is not only 436 colour blocks, but also 436 memories.
In the past, people cherish the chance to take pictures and develop photos and carefully store them in albums. In those days without filters, people recorded the truest colours and the simplest life. Now, people usually take photos with their mobile phones which can be kept for a long time, so sometimes they are lazy to record their lives and cherish photos.
Therefore, the purpose of this theme is to focus and lead the audience to feel the charm of colour in China in the 90s. Also reflect on themselves together: did you lazy in the record of life and not pay attention to cherish photos?
